Who I am
I was born and raised in Northwest Indiana. Now, I am employed with FedEx Freight Corporation and have been for the past 17 years. Along with my regular delivery responsibilities, I am also a FedEx Road Team Captain. I travel across the country highlighting the importance of the transportation industry in the United States - one of the same industries that keeps Gary moving forward!
What I've Done
I am a strong advocate for being involved in and supporting our community. Currently, I serve as the Commissioner and Secretary of the Gary Port Authority.
I serve on the Aetna Manor Revitalization Project Auxiliary Board and a member and volunteer with the Miller Citizens Corporation (MCC).
I'm currently the President of Haven House Domestic Violence Shelter and Advocacy Center where we provide safety and resources to families in need.
Previously, I served 4 years as Commissioner on the Lake County Judicial Nominating Commission.
